Wands of Old

Eve entered the run down looking place on her own. Mother was off in another research project while Father was called in on another case. She looked around the dusty store and shrugged. It was old and so it made sense that layers of dust would be there.

"Hello?" She sort of called out.

Olivandar popped his head out from the back and smiled seeing a new person coming to get a wand. Moving quickly Olivander took up a mesuring tape and smiled to the new girl. "Right so this is your first wand is it? well lets see your writing arm then."

he gave the new commer a polite smile as he walked around the counter. it was always so good to see new people coming in for there first wands.

She nodded with her mouth shut tight. Eve didn't feel the need to speak so she followed the man's instruction and held out her right arm since it was more dominate than her left. Her eyes quickly zoned in on a girl that barely entered the store. Eve stared at her for a moment before turning her attention back to the owner.

Olivander took his mesurements and then went to the back pulling out several boxes he put them on the counter. he handed eve the first of the wands he pulled out. "Give it a go, and lets see what happens shall we? remember to point away from anything breakable."

he then turned to the new girl. "right writing hand out please." he said as he motioned for the new girl to put her hand out. these first few weeks before school were always his busiest. he took his mesuring tape out again.

Cepeda entered the store, as he was told by his father to pick some wand out for his upcoming school year at the school "Hogwarts". Cepeda knew nothing about magic, and was still confused about his surroundings. "May I have some assistance, I'm kind of new at this?"

Olivander smiled as he handed the one that he had just messured a wand from the back "Right just remember to point away from something breakable and give it a flick."

Olivander then turned to the newcomer, picking up his measuring tape "wand arm out lets get you measured."

Eve waved the wand and was met with a sudden explosion to her right; a vase had burst into pieces - thankfully away from the other customers. She could feel her ears redden with embarrassment, and thanked the gods that her hair covered them. Her eyes went back to Olivander.

"I believe that I would need to try for a few more wands, Mr. Olivander," Eve said with her soft voice.

She knew that she wouldn't be able to get her wand on her first try. Her parents, or rather, her father had told her that no one usually gets their wands until after a few accidents.

((OOC: Just place a bundle of boxes on top of the counter and I'll RP trying them all until I find the best one.))

Cepeda was shaken up from the explosion, as he looked over at what happened, he saw the broken vase and then at the girl that casted it. Cepeda was worried about the power of magic, he wondered why his father would allow him to do all this, but stopped him from doing fun stuff back home. He looked at the guy, as he put his arm forward in front of him waiting for measurements. Cepeda looked at Eve as he smiled. "Hi, you got some powerful magic there, My names Cepeda, what's yours?"

As she was waiting for the old man to get more boxes, Eve turned to the boy who had addressed her. Eve gave a small smile as she turned to him.

"Eve Vollfied," she replied. "And you are?"

"Cepeda Scion, so are you going to "Hogwarts" too?" Cepeda said, she seemed experienced in magic, at least more than he is.

Olivander put a bunch of wands out onto his counter and smiled "Dont worry about the vase dear it happens all the time."

Olivander then went to the other girl after taking her mesurements he smiled and handed her a wand "Right same as her dont point it towards anyone's eyes thats usually bad."

he walked up to the third person still smiling this had been a busy day he was starting to worry if his shop would survive the day. "Writting hand out lets get you measured for your wand."

Cepeda nods at him, as he puts his right arm up into the air. Cepeda was excited, but somewhat reluctant to be doing this. Just last week he found out about magic, and now his father expects him to learn it now. Cepeda was only a half blood and they expected him to do this. Cepeda shrugged, he didn't like giving up though. "Wands are assigned by arm length? I thought we just picked it."

Vencindia Fennen, Sivian Nether's mother, ushered Sivian into the shop. Sivian was too excited and to afraid to dare speak or read anything, and so he missed the name of the shop, and not paying attention to details, what kind of shop he was in.

The wind blowed violently outside, hammering on the windows of Ollivander's wand shop, the shutters on the windows creaked and the glass cracked slightly.
Was something ominous about to happen?

Orphen looks around at everyone in the shop, as it seems they all went into a daze. Orphen walks into them and waves his hand in their faces as he shakes them all. "Hello?"

Ollivander ignored everyone that suddenly seemed to space out.
"Well then, shall I measure your writing arm, good sir?" He asked. "The part about the wand choosing the wizard only applies to after the wand length is known..."

Sivian looked uncertain. "What happened?" He hoarsely cried.

"I'm not sure." Ollivander muttered. "Let me get your wand." He finished measuring the boy's arm and vanished into the back of the store. He came back with a small box that he slapped upon the counter.
