The first step to greatness...

Platform 9 3/4... Oh me and your grandfather first met each other there...The sparks flew.But quietly though..He was a very sweet fellow with hair of fire and eyes of a green forest.... Yes there we both stood staring at each other from afar....I will never forget.. Inbtween platform Nine and ten...We held hands and broke into a run...That was the start of our love...


Athalia's cheeks turned pink as the voice of her grandmother died down in her mind. Grandma elle always told her stories of her and grandfather when she went over to vist them in Ireland. Walking into King Cross station Athalia pulled her books and things in her suitcase. In a few moments Athalia and her aunt stood in between the platforms

" Aunt Mai...I am gonna miss you..."


The dark haired women kissed her daughter on the forehead and smiled " The family will write and send you things frequently do not worry love.."

Athalia nodded as she looked at the brick wall.

Another student appeared behind Athalia, wheeling her huge trolley along. Upon it was her pet owl, in an elaborate, golden cage. Also, there were trunks and boxes piled high with other objects that she had bought in the streets before coming to the platform.
"First time?" She asked. She was secretly a second-year student but she wasn't going to let that show. She was the kind of person to pretend they were at least a fourth-year and didn't care. They wanted to radiate authority.
She flicked back her short brown hair before lining up her trolley with the ever famous brick wall.
"You have to run into it, preferably at top speed. That way, you won't feel the fuzzy!" She laughed before dashing toward the wall...
and vanishing.

Ignoring the student female with a small flick of her heard as she saw her dissapper into the wall. Athalia looked at her aunt kissing her and then making a dash of her own. looking around she was met with many students all talking and mingling. Athalia looked around before stepping further into the sea of children.

The red Hogwarts Express tooted and bellowed smoke from the front of the train, which was a few feet up the platform from where the students entered. The doors of the train slammed open and closed as students got on and off, wishing their parents farewell and putting their luggage on the train.
Many students jostled past each other to make some space and to be able to get on.
"Aaaaaaalllll abooooooaaaard!"

Ramal let out a huge breath that he didnt even know he was holding as he passed through the platform. He looked up and saw students everywhere, rushing onto the train that was most definitly the one that went to Hogwarts. Holding onto his luggage tight, he walked through the crowd and onto the train.

Serena stared in confusion from her father to the brick wall in front of her. "You have got to be kidding me. Seriously? You've spent your... okay, my whole life telling me not to walk into things." She said. When her father didn't say that he was joking, she gave a sigh and walked slowly to the wall. Just before it, she turned back. "If this is all some sort of joke, I will hurt you." She warned, before smiling at him softly. "However, if it isn't, love you Dad." She said. She didn't say goodbye. She would see him again. She pushed through the barrier cautiously, not believing her father's words until her trolley went through easily. She sucked in a deep breath of surprise as she literally fell through. "Aaaaaaalllll abooooooaaaard!" She heard the call, and walked cautiously through the crowd, avoiding the bodies as much as possible, before climbing onto the train and walking down the carriages hesitantly to find an empty place to sit.

The train tooted before the engine hissed steam and the wheels of the train started turning, clanking, clanking...
The station was also filled with the sounds of parents waving their students goodbye and wishing them good luck.
