News |
The start of a new school year alway beings unexpected surprises, awesome memories and of course... supply gathering! The students of Hogwarts are collecting their supplies from Diagon Alley as we speak, spending their money as they see fit. After this, it's to the station to find Platform 9 3/4 to board the Hogwarts Express! However, a rather disturbing piece of news has just emerged. Apparently the train stopped on its first trip to Hogwarts and shook from side to side as explosions wrecked havoc from within. The cause is unknown, but families are still assured their children are safe.

| It was getting Noon and Isaac still had't finished his homework. He needed to attend the classes but he skipped them. He wouldn't care. Isaac was tired and went to his room to take a nap. It was Noon and he wanted to take a nap. Isaac couldn't care less of the school he was attending on. He hadn't got any problem with his grade's since he studies easily and quickly. When it was getting Night Isaac would grab his Guitar and play in his room. He hoped he didn't disturb other people who were sleeping. After 2 hours of playing the guitar Isaac would go to sleep and wake up early in the morning. Isaac would brush his teeth take a shower put on his clothes and go the classes he was attending on. When the teachers asked him where he was yesterday he said that he needed to finish some lulzy business. Isaac was send to the director when he said that and now he is waiting in front of the directors office it appears that he was busy. | |

| "Why, why on Earth do you insist on performing this kind of behavior that gets you nowhere?" Spoke the Director as he stepped slowly into the room, holding a wad of paper upon which were several letters. He slammed these on his crowded desk, sending other papers flying. "Don't you realize that if you continue like this, you're giving yourself a very small opportunity to do anything in the future? How are you going to become rich and famous, or just rich?" He frowned, mopping sweat with a tissue from his glistening, bald brow. He slumped in his chair behind the desk, opposite the boy. "If I have to suspend you, so be it." | |

| Liz disapperated into a quiet alleyway, just around the corner from St. Jerome's Boarding School, London, where her four children lived and studied during the term. Well, they lived there. Not all of them studied, and that was the problem. She had been called there, via a very complicated system that informed her of her children causing trouble whilst she was teaching at Hogwarts, because her eldest son, Isaac was apparently "on the brink of suspension" again. So, once again, Liz had left Hogwarts during her lunch break to speak on her son's behalf. Having made sure to dress in Muggle clothes consisting of jeans and a light blue sweater, Liz entered the school and informed the receptionist who she was. She was ushered immediately to the Director's Office, where her son was already being spoken to. She pushed open the door with a mild smile on her face. | |

| As Isaac was listening to the director his mum stepped in. Isaac sighed as he had little care. Isaac decided to respond at the director and pointed towards him "Hey, you must have been a kid once. It was a joke. A plain old word joke. Why would i get suspended out of that?" Isaac turned his head around and greeted his mother. He was hoping he could get out of the office already and take a nap again. | |

| "Greetings, Mrs Amberson." The Director smiled, beckoning her to sit down at one of the other chairs in the room. "I assume you already know what this meeting is about." He frowned, then turned his attention once more on Isaac. "It's not just this, but your other offenses from the past. Being tardy, not handing anything in and missing school altogether. I think you need a little lesson in discipline." He muttered, pointing a finger at Isaac. "Tell me why I shouldn't suspend you at this point." | |

| Liz sat down in the chair next to her son, pulling him into a warm hug and rubbing his back reassuringly, like she used to do when he was a child. As far as she could see, her eldest son was a little lazy, but he did no real harm; his grades were good, he got on with his classmates... In short, she didn't see why the Director had dragged her all the way down from Scotland.
Releasing her son with a warm smile, she turned to the Director, "Well, if he needs a lesson in discipline, why have you never given him one?" She asked lightly, "He has been attending this school for over five years, Director. The real question isn't about suspension, but why you have allowed the situation to reach this point."

| "I only took over this year." The director replied to Liz. "Didn't you read the e-mail and letters that were sent home?" The Director frowned at Liz, folding his arms and leaning on his desk. "I think you should take your son home at this point and teach him some lessons, maybe some manners and discipline." The Director spoke. "It's near the summer anyway, so he isn't missing... much." | |

| Isaac raised his left brow as he was listening to the director. He was spouting nonsense about discipline whilst Isaac was just Lazy. Isaac give the director a piercing look when he mentioned the summer. He immediately began thinking about summer school. No way he was going to do this Isaac responded with a calm answer "Why improve attitude when your just fine. I mean come on even the teacher laughed for a bit. I don't see how this got turned out to be a big problem" Isaac was spouting nonsense, but it was true nonsense. "And it's not correct to blame my mother for this. There's a limit what parents can learn their children. Isaac was calmly waiting for an answer. | |

| Liz frowned. She really didn't like this mans attitude, and her quick temper was starting to flare up. It seemed that as far as he was concerned, if he couldn't bother with looking after Isaac then the child just shouldn't be his problem.
"Should I take my other children out of school too then, Director?" she suggested, her voice deadly sweet, "Little Candy, your A* student? Angelina, who has never caused a days trouble in her life?" She frowned at the Director, making it clear that she had put a lot of money into his school by paying for her children to attend there, and that she wasn't impressed with his attitude, "It seems to me that, even if you have only been here a year, that is still a year where you could have made an impact. My children live here for the majority of the year, and in that time they are entrusted to your care. Don't critisise my son for his lazy attitude whilst having the nerve to suspend him because you don't want to deal with him yourself!"

| The Director backed off, putting his hands up in response to the student and mother's comments and questions. "The other students are perfectly fine, but the problem I have here is with Isaac - if the other children you have are so well-behaved, why is it this one who causes problems?" He frowned, placing his hands back onto his desk. "It would actually seem that you have been neglecting your duties as a mother, the support hasn't been given to Isaac when he most needed it. I'm not surprised though - he's your oldest son isn't he? It is thought that once new children come along, the one who was born first actually gets neglected for the youngest." The director inwardly smirked, knowing he had some upper ground. "It's not the school's job to shape the personality of its students. That's the mother's job." He then turned to Isaac. "I know this is only primary school, but your future may suffer as a result. You still have time to repair this by yourself though." | |

| Liz went passed furious, and into deadly calm,
"Isaac is my eldest son, yes, but he is also my second child. Isn't it strange how Angela, my oldest, wasn't affected by this theory of yours? And isn't it odd how you complain about Isaac making trouble when all he does is, quite simply, nothing. He doesn't do his work, he doesn't turn up to class, he doesn't pay attention. That's worrying, yes, but hardly vandalism. And hardly a problem that is going to improve if he doesn't even have classes to be encouraged to go to. Now," Liz smirked, leaning forward to rest her elbows of the edge of the Director's desk, "As a single mother of quadruplets, I'm sure you know everything there is possibly to know about the duties of a mother. Tell me, what was your firsthand experience like? And while you're at it, why not explain how I have caused my child to 'fail' in his personality when he has been attending this school for over three quatres of a year since he was five years old and will therefore have been highly, if not completely, influenced by this environment?" She paused, "You see, Director, the problem here is that you seem to be saying that my parenting skills are the reason you want to kick my son out of school in his last few weeks of primary education. If he 'won't be missing much', why make him go anyway?"

| "Doing nothing poses problems for itself." The Director spoke, spreading his hands and returning them to their original state as some sort of shrug. "However he is influenced now, will affect him. You know this much, I am sure since you just said it."
He then reached for a pen that lay upon the desk and began scribbling some notes onto it to make what turned out to be a rather formal looking letter. He handed it to Liz, leaning over the desk as he did so. "This letter tells you about where to find institutions for children such as these, or rather, places where they can go to regain their motivation."

| As Isaac was listening to his mothers calm yet outburst. He was sighing allot. Isaac stretched his back for a moment since he had been sitting on that chair for over 30 minutes. He then had the sudden rage to interrupt the two adults who where spouting information and trivia about parenting by saying calmly "Look, i'll go to detention 1-2 hours a day for 1 week long alright?" Isaac decided to negotiate his punishment. After he said that he put his elbow on his knee and put his cheeks on his fist and sighed again as the boring conversation about Isaac's future would continue. | |

| Liz smiled at her son's maturity in dealing with the situation, finding it humerous that he seemed entirely bored with the whole discussion. His suggestion could be seen as a good compromise. Only this Director didn't seem too interested in compromise. Liz was close to coming to the same conclusion she had had for the other twenty-six meetings she had had with the Director this year; she Obliviated his memory, so that he only knew Isaac by name and didn't notice any problems for another few months or so. However, because she always tried to show her children that magic wasn't the solution to everything, she hoped that this could be the fourth meeting where she didn't erase the Director's memory.
She took the letters from the Director and placed them on her lap without even glancing at them, "It is not Isaac's Secondary education that bothers me." she said, "It's these final weeks of Primary School that you seem desperate to deprive him of that I want him to be able to continue in peace."

| Mazilo was listening as the director and his mother were talking again. After that it would be silent again. He thought with this they would solve it again. Isaac was wondering why they came to a agreement those other times way and way faster when his mother was there. Mazilo grabbed his coat and stood up and looked at the eye's of the director and said "Is it okay if we leave know, i think my mum has her work to do" Isaac didn't want to be a bother for his mother and he decided to wrap things up and leave already, after all he wanted to take a nap. | |

| "Then... continue in peace. do your work. I'm not quite sure what you're still doing here." The Director frowned, having been oblivated. The letters he handed her had been placed on her lap, so he assumed the meeting was just about handing said letters over. He then leaned back in his chair, dismissing Isaac and Liz, turning around so that he faced the giant windows behind him. | |

| "Let's go, Isaac." Liz said warmly to her eldest son, wrapping her arm around his shoulders and steering him out of the office. Once in the lobbey of the school, she sighed deeply, "Muggles!" before turning to her eldest son, and sighing, disappointment flickering across her features, "Isaac.." she began, brushing his hair out of his eyes tenderly, "Honey, you know we can't keep doing this. That's the twenty-third time this year that I've had to Obliviate your school Director to keep you here." she crouched down and put her hands on her son's shoulders, "Just please, promise me you'll at least pretend to work until the end of term. It's only a few more weeks before you break up for the summer, and then you'll be going to Hogwarts. I'm relying on you to keep yourself and your brother out of trouble." | |

| As Isaac and his mother left the office his mother put her arm around him. He was looking at the opening at his door. Someone must've been inside his room when he was out. He was calm and listened to the kind words of his mum. Isaac immediately responded when she was done talking "Yeah, yeah i'll get on it. Sorry if i disturbed you from your work mum. Greet the people at school for me." With that said Isaac hugged his mother and said her goodbye. and went to his room to see who entered it without his permission. As he entered his room he saw a open window. It must've been the wind that was gushing in.

| Liz hugged her son back warmly, but sighed as he rushed into his room, seeming to have regarded little of what she had said. Even when she had been talking to him, his gaze had been drawn over her shoulder to his dorm room door. But then, she guessed his lack of attention span had a lot to do with his age.
Liz glanced at her watch nervously. She had to be teaching Third Years in under five minutes. The meeting had literally taken up all of her lunchbreak. Sad that she wouldn't be able to see her other children whilst visiting the school, she just hoped Isaac would behave himself, and tell Sylvan to do the same; it seemed that if it wasn't one boy in the Directors office, it was the other. Liz couldn't really say a bad word about either of her sons though. She loved all of her children too much for that.
